Item Details

Description

1950's era ribbon bar to US Navy Captain William Emerson Lamb who earned a Navy Cross in the 1944 Battle of the Philippine Seat attached to the USS Princeton. He became an ACE in WWII, shooting down five Japanese planes. In the Korean war, he earned a sixth kill by shooting down an enemy MiG. This lot consists of his theater made embroidered pin on ribbon bar, full sized aviator wings, and several pages of copies research and articles about him.
