Scratch built steamboat model of the Narragansett Bay passenger steamer the S.S. Block Island. Previously known as Dida, the USS Machigonne, and Hook Mountain, the vessel was later renamed League Island and then Yankee. The ship is currently moored in Brooklyn, New York.
Wood,Boat measures approx. 19" long,Case: 30"w x 9"d x 11"t
Plaque on base reads "S.S. Block Island Launched 1907".
