Pre-Columbian, Guerrero Region, Mexico, Mezcala, ca. 500 to 200 BCE. A wonderful ensemble of carved and string-cut amulets including a hand-polished greenstone avian pendant with nicely delineated wings, tail and beaked visage; two anthropomorphic faces, both from a mottled greenstone, and a wing-shaped amulet carved from mottled greenstone as well. Quite a special group, all perforated for suspension. Size: bird and feather pendant measure approximately 1.625" L (4.1 cm)
