Description
Elvis Presley's Black Dress Socks Given to Charlie Hodge W/(2) LOAs - These black dress socks belonged to Elvis Presley, and as with many of Elvis’ fashions and jewelry, were passed along to Memphis Mafia member Charlie Hodge before they was acquired by collector Mike L. Moon. These black dress socks are similar in type to the socks that Elvis wore with his stage boots, and could have been worn both on and off the stage. The socks will be accompanied by a certified copy of the original certificate of authenticity (the certificate listed several items and certified copies were made as the items were split apart) from the sale to Moon signed by Charlie Hodge and Ed Hill and dated March 21, 1982. The piece will also be accompanied by a second letter of authenticity from "EP Archives" of Las Vegas, Nevada, indicating that the offered piece was among the items purchased from the Mike Moon collection in 2018. These socks were displayed and/or stored at Mike Moon's Elvis Presley Museums for over 35 years, which operated in three locations from 1981-2016.
