Description
German 800 silver chalice, trophy cup for the 8th National Shooting Tournament, 1884, Leipzig. Made by C.E. Keyser. The stem is embossed with strapwork and the bowl is decorated with wreathed images of the Hohenzollern eagle, the coat of arms of the city of Leipzig, contemporary shooting accessories and a historical crossbow. The base is surrounded by an inscription in Gothic script "Achtes Deutches Bundesschiessen Leipzig Juli 1884." Height: 20.5. Weight: 219 grams. Marked.
