Description
This is a very finely crafted bronze tobacco pipe with ornate designs and charming ancestor face from the Bamoun/Bamun or Bamileke peoples, Cameroon, Africa. The Pipe was cast in about 4 pieces and assembled, apparently some time ago. The Pipe has a lattice like design that has been termed "spider motif" on other Bamileke objects. The Pipe measures 25 inches long and will also include a professional custom display stand. Ex~ Leonard Kahan collection, purchased directly from his gallery in the early 1980's.
