Description
Roman, later Imperial Period, ca. 4th to early 6th century CE. A handsome, wearable ring, composed of a high silver alloy (93% silver), with a broad, hexagonal face incised with a cross motif. Between each equally-long arm of the cross is a small tri-looped linear motif. The band is thick, smooth on the interior, with a gentle ridge around its midsection on the exterior. Size: 1" W x 0.8" H (2.5 cm x 2 cm); US size 9.5; 10.5 g
