Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 337 to 350 CE. A fine cast-bronze coin depicting the Emperor Constans I, his name in raised lettering behind his head. The coin is set inside a modern sterling silver ring setting with a thick band and an in-folded rim. The coin is covered in layers of lustrous dark green-brown patina which provides a nice contrast to the brilliant reflective surfaces of the ring. A beautiful and wearable ring combining ancient currency and a modern setting! Size: 0.9" Diameter x 1" H (2.3 cm x 2.5 cm); total weight: 21.7 grams; Silver is sterling quality: 95%; US ring size: 11.5.

Wearable as shown. Coin is ancient and sterling silver setting is modern. Surface wear to coin commensurate with age, and minor fading to raised designs. Very minor nicks to ring band, otherwise intact and very good.
