Description
A Seleucid-Parthian terracotta figure, c. 3rd - 2nd Century BC, in characteristic banqueter pose wearing pointed cap and long robes, left arm resting on a pillow right arm draped over legs. L:6 in (15.4cm), H: 3 3/5 in (9.2cm). Light surface deposits. Cf. M. Langin-Hooper, Seleucid-Parthian Figurines from Babylon in the Nippur Collection, (2016) for the type; Ex Denver, CO private collection.
