Ancient Roman Marble Portrait Head of a Man ca. early 3rd Century AD. The middle-aged man with closely-cropped hair, eyes sunken under a heavy brow with pupils deeply drilled, the cheek bones high and prominent. His lips are thin with a dimple below and a short beard runs along the jaw line and chin. Despite restoration to the left side of the head and part of the forehead the facial features remain intact.
