Description
HL-3 "WASHINGTON" / "LAFAYETTE" HISTORICAL PRESSED OPEN SALT, colorless, scallop-and-point rim, name faintly embossed above each bust, grape bunch and leaf base. Unique. Probably New England Glass Co. 1830-1840. 2 1/8" H, 2 1/8" x 3".
Near proof, rim with one lightly tipped scallop and a few minor flakes, shallow chip to one base corner, otherwise only a hint of mold roughness.
