Description

Nicely carved and painted Newcomb College transitional mat glaze vase with hyacinth decoration done by Henrietta Bailey in 1915. Marks include the Newcomb logo, the date code for 1915 (HQ 34 in blue slip), shape number 194 and Bailey’s monogram in blue slip. Height 7 1/8 inches. Uncrazed and in excellent original condition with nearly invisible grinding chip on base.
