Description
Tall Standard glaze vase decorated with a portrait of Cheyenne Chief Three Fingers in full headdress, the work of Sturgis Laurence in 1899. Marks include the Rookwood logo, which indicates the date, shape 218 A, incised "Three Fingers", Cheyenne and having the artist's initials. There is fine overall crazing and a few pinhead sized burst glaze bubbles. Height is 11 7/8 inches.
