Central Asia, Indus Valley, Harappan/Mohenjo-Daro civilization, ca. 2700 to 2000 BCE. A squat, round-bodied pyxis with a concave circular base, wide sloping walls, and a slightly flared rim. A motif of repeating concentric circles line the exterior circumference, black on the buff surface of the vessel. Size: 3.25" W x 1.75" H (8.3 cm x 4.4 cm).
