Description
An Egyptian wood ushabti, Late New Kingdom, c. 1200 - 1075 BC, mummiform, wearing tripartite wig, arms folded at chest, hands holding hoes, bag at center of back and vertical column of hieroglyphic text down front of legs. A nice example with well-preserved black detail, especially on the inscription. 7 1/4 in (18.4 cm). Ex Nomis Antiquities.
