Description
An interesting Egyptian terracotta ushabti, Late New Kingdom, c. 1200 - 1075 BC, from the territories in Israel and Jordan most likely, the body mummiform but without headdress, the features nicely modeled, arms folded across chest, fingers neatly delineated. A most curious ushabti and originally from one of the jar burials from the Holy Land. H: 8 in (20.3 cm). Ex Nomis Antiquities.
