Description
An Egyptian wooden ushabti, Late New Kingdom, c. 1200 - 1075 BC, retaining much of its original pigment. The ushabti is depicted mummiform, wearing tripartite wig, arms folded at chest, hand with implements and a column of hieroglyphs down front of legs. H: 7 in (17.7cm). Well-preserved with light deposits, mounted on a custom base. Ex Jamieson Design, St. Louis.
