Description
A large Egyptian terracotta painted ushabti, Late New Kingdom, c. 1200 - 1075 BC, mummiform, wearing tripartite wig, arms crossed over chest, each hand holding a hoe. A nice examples with remnants of original pigment, especially in the hair and face. H: 7 7/8 in (20cm). Ex-Kent, UK private collection.
