Chinese baluster vase has a tall feminine silhouette with broad shoulders and a body that either tapers toward the base. Two dragon shaped ears flanked on the neck with two free hanging porcelain rings. Highly decorated in colorful famille rose design, adorned with circumambulating scenes of children flying kites and playing amidst a salubrious garden. The collar adorned with a central red-peony which is known as the queen of flowers as well as being considered a symbol of love, affection, riches, honor, and feminine beauty. The underside foot rim left unglazed, with pale-creme base spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The receded base left white underglaze.


Mark on base, a six underglaze red seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, Made in The Years of QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
