A Chinese Sizeable rotund willow vase with rounded shoulders converging into a tall straight neck, with a slightly concave foot base. Colloidal gold has been painted around the rim, which gleams as the light hits it. The exterior is delicately decorated with hand painted gnarled tree branches bearing an abundance of luscious peaches. Peaches are known to resemble immortality, marriage, and spring-time. Daoist's also believe the peach tree grows near the palace of Xiwangmu who is the Queen of the Immortals. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.


Mark on base, a six blue underglazed script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within double fine rings, Made in The Years of JiaJing Reign Period of Great Ming.
