Very fine pair Chinese enameled open face famille rose porcelain vases. Potted in form of baluster body, cylindrical straight belly, with rounded shoulder tapered gracefully toward the tall cylindrical neck, leading to flared rim. Two gilt overglazed abstractive scrolling foliate flanked on the neck. The exterior delicately decorated with various birds and flowering landscape hand painting enclosed within flori-form shaped gilt cartouche. Banded with pale-blue fret and geometric patterned ribbon on the neck and lower body, along with gilt overglazed ring on neck and mouth rim. All reserved again sgraffiato diaper in rococo lotus tendrils motif against purplish-red glazed ground. The interior and receded underbase left plain with pale-turquoise-green underglazed ground. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, pooling on the base slightly veiling the mark. The underbase shows fine crackle-glazed with shades of grayish marks. The composition is sophisticated and the decoration colors are simply a feast for the eye.


Mark on base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Period of Great Qing.
