Description
A group of 4 Egyptian faience amulets, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC. Lot includes a papyrus column amulet, H: 3.8 cm; a pair of Djed column amulets representing Osiris, L: 2.9 cm and 2.8 cm, and the last an amulet in the form of a 'Nefer' sign, which signifies good luck, youth, happiness, joy, strength, and good tidings. H: 2.6 cm. Each well-preserved with blue-green glaze and light deposits. Ex estate of a Danish Egyptologist, acquired in the 1970's.
