Description

The best Hudson Valley 6 board blanket box in original light blue/green paint having rattail hinges, original till & lock, molding along base, cutout sides, circa 1800. Illegibly signed on interior base in chalk by maker. Light crazing to paint from being attic stored, top with some pencil markings, small loss to cutout on right side of base due to missing knot (note - this has been missing since it was constructed as the loss area is covered in the original blue paint), and a small section of molding missing on right rear of lid, but overall very good untouched condition. 44.25"L x 17.75"D x 23"H.
