Description

A very fine Hudson Valley blanket box in original dark green paint, interior till and drawer, rattail hinges, mounted on original bracket base with dovetailed construction. Note the bracket supports are attached to base with rose head nails, circa 1800. Very good condition. Measures 49 1/2"W x 19 1/2"D x 21"H. Note the script initials on underside of base in the same color paint as the box and is marked "J. H. O".
