He critiques how his presidential predecessors conducted the war, defends his own approach, and blames the Democratic U.S. Congress’ failure to continue providing support for South Vietnam for Communist North Vietnam’s takeover of that country. 8 ½” x 11”, seven page, legal document, Arbor House Publishing Company, May 3, 1984, signed. The document is the contract for publishing this book for which Nixon received an advance of $75,000, plus royalties’. He was signed at the conclusion and added his social security number, also signed by a representative of the publisher.
