Description
Ivory silk in tone-on-tone floral brocade, lavishly decorated with white beads and beaded net with fringe, square neckline above self buttons, beaded net sleeve, bustle skirt having pleats flanking a net center panel with allover beaded decoration, long train hemmed with a series of pleated ruffles below a fancy braided and beaded rope band. Petersham label "Sharpless & Sons, Chestnut & 8th St, Philadelphia". B-34, W-22, L 57-101. (Spot on rope band, net sleeves torn, one underarm torn and the other repaired, bodice front point altered, ruffle backing the train torn and browned, bead losses). Together with a pair of embroidered satin wedding shoes with bow vamp and Louis heel having custom mounts, Philadelphia label, L-10, (bindings torn at the back). Good.
