Petersham label "Bacharach". Attributed to Elizabeth of Romania, purchased at Christie's Auction July 11, 1967. The ensemble was part of a larger group of objects: "The majority of the following dresses were the property of the late Princess Marie Elizabeth of Wied of Schloss Monrepos, Neuwied (b. 1880); many earlier dresses belonged to her grandmother, Princess Louise of Prussia". B-36, W-23, skirt L 45-55. (Net has large tears at shoulders, hidden tear under one arm, silk bodice lining shattering, lacking skirt lining, hem edge wear, lacking sash) fair.
