White with woven stripe printed in brown with trailing bellflowers, high waist bodice with ruched front panels creating V-neck flanked by self ruffles, ruched and padded at the shoulder, long fitted sleeve with large puff above the elbow, wide waistband, full gathered skirt. Original underdress having tucks and self piping. B-34, W-25, L 49-52. Janet Arnold 1969 cataloguing notebook states "Belonged to the Honorable Honoria Harrington", no further provenance found. (Several small mends and tear at waistband and cuffs, tears and repairs to back neckline, small brown spots and mends in hem area, few tiny brown spots to underdress, hole patched on back) good.
