One plate shows a geological profile of the canal, with four inset views. The views represent “Canal at Albany,” “Aqueduct Bridge, Little Falls”, “Aqueduct Falls, Rochester,” “Village of Black Rock from Canadian Shore.” The other plate is a colored "Profile of Rocks crossing part of Massachusetts...". Scarce, no copies in recent auction records.
Condition
Light wear to binding; foxing and offsetting within; very good.
