Description
A pair of cinnabar vases dating from the late 19th century carved with scenes of figures in a landscape setting. The neck and base are carved with floral motifs, and the central band has a Greek key border beneath it. Both vases have 10 figures in the central band around the body.
Dimensions are: 21 1/2 inches tall X 8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate
Condition: The inside of one vase's lacquer is crackling, and both have very small areas of chipping.
Provenance: From a Denver, Colorado estate.
