FENG ZHI WEI (Chinese 20th/21st Century) A MONUMENTAL POLYCHROME ENAMEL GLAZED CERAMIC FIGURE OF GUAN GONG YU, 21ST CENTURY, the cast ceramic standing figure of the Warrior God, Guan Gong Yu, wearing a blue headcloth secured by a knotted string above a headband with a flame, seated upon a stone, the dark brown face with furrowed brow and long black beard, wearing armor covered with a green robe with a dragon in relief over clouds trimmed with a red and blue striped border, his shoulders draped with a flowing red cape, holding the Green Dragon Crescent Blade (with stained wood shaft), and holding his pointer and index finger of his left hand upright, signed reverse. In overall good condition with minor surface rubbing, scratching, and wear commensurate with age and use, the tip of the flame broken, several firing cracks to the body (some filled with matching colored wax), the interior with plaster coating.
