**First Time At Auction**
Native American, Southwestern US, Anasazi (Ancient Puebloan) culture, White Mountain region of Arizona (Puerco Pueblo), Pueblo III period, ca. 1150 to 1300 CE. A pretty example of a corrugated grey ware pitcher with a rounded, apple-shaped body, a slightly corseted neck, and a flared rim. A tiny lugged handle sits just underneath the rim on one side. Pueblo III was a time of dense urban occupation when people lived in incredible cliff dwellings and walled villages near canyon heads. Size: 4.8" W x 5.1" H (12.2 cm x 13 cm)
