Description
**First Time At Auction**

Egypt, Late Dynastic to Ptolemaic Periods, ca. 664 to 30 BCE. A lovely trio of stirrup-shaped glazed faience rings with a bright blue color, each with a flat face bearing an image or symbol. One depicts a Wedjat (or Wadjet), also known as the Eye of Horus, symbolic of health, healing, and protection. A second ring depicts an abstract arrow-and-ray motif, and a third ring depicts an abstract seated figure. Size of largest: 0.75" W (1.9 cm).
