Egypt, Late Dynastic to Ptolemaic Periods, ca. 712 to 30 BCE. A stirrup-shaped, bright blue faience finger ring with a flat face bearing the symbol of the Wedjat eye, better known as the Eye of Horus. This ring was made using a clay mold, demonstrating the level of skill that the ancient Egyptians had attained in working with faience. The ring portion itself is a US size 6.5. Size: 0.875" W (2.2 cm).
