California Ave’. 2.) Book Title: A Mathematical Miscellany in Four Parts. I. An Essay towards the Probable Solution of the Forty-five Surprising Paradoxes, in Gordon’s Geography. II. Fifty-five New and Amazing Paradoxes, some in Verse, some in Prose, with their Solutions. III. An Algebraical Solution to the Hundred Arithmetical and Geometrical Problems, left unanswered n Hill’s Arithmetic and Alexanders Algebra et. al. IV. Miscellaneous Rules about forming Enigmas Questions, the Doctrine of the Eclipses, of Pendulums, the Equation of Time, concerning Easter, & c. Author: A Lover of Mathematics, Samuel Fuller. Publisher: London: Printed for M. Cooper at the Globe in Pater-Noster-Row, 1751. Binding: 6.75”h x 4”w, leather with gilded borders. Notes: Interior is complete and in good condition but front cover and endpaper off, missing most of spine and wear to covers. This is a very rare edition and our research uncovered only 3 copies of this edition worldwide, this being the fourth.
