It is a classic work of rinascimental surgery published for the first time in latin language in 1573, in italian language in 1574 and considered one of the best treaties of that time used and studied for all the XVII century. This fine surgical compendium describes different deseases (as syphilis) and surgical procedures with description of medical treatments (lotion and treatments and how to apply them) and description of surgical instruments used in the XVI century. Inside there are tens and tens of woodcuts representing surgical instruments with their names and images of surgical operations. Very beautiful three woodcuts che showing a surgical room with physician operating on a patient and animals in the room (cats, dogs and rats). Dalla Croce describes surgery, the conditions of the good surgeon, the surgical art, the extraction of items, wide part dedicated to treatment of deseases, description of isntruments.
