**First Time At Auction**

Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom, Amarna Period (18th Dynasty), ca. 1352 to 1336 BCE. A curved piece of pottery, probably a fragment from the side of a large vessel, with a motif of gorgeous blue flowers with black outlines and red and white details. This fragment is similar to artistic depictions of similar motifs from the Amarna-period tomb-chapel of Nebamun which depicts the wealthy official and his wife in the marshes along the banks of the Nile with naturalistic fauna and flora. Size: 3.25" L x 1.625" W (8.3 cm x 4.1 cm)
