Description
Central Asia, India, Naga peoples, ca. early to mid 20th century CE. A gorgeous glass bead necklace made by the Naga culture composed of ninety-six strands of hundreds of gold, orange, red, clear, royal blue, and light blue seed beads. Thick twine-wrapped strands hold everything together, with a loop at one end and a drilled 1947 Indian Quarter Rupee coin as a fastener at the other end. Beautiful and wearable! Size: 22" L (55.9 cm).
