Item Details

Description

Group of 3 photographs depicting U.S. military. The larger of the three is noted on the rear (in pencil) as being the 8th Cavalry H.Q. Camp at Hot Springs. The other two seem to depict a military formation in camp (likely 8th Cav. as well), with riders mounted on horseback and hitched to wagons carrying artillery. Measuring 13.5" x 10.5" (x1), and 9.5" x 4" (x2). The larger photo is quite faded and with a 2" tear near upper margin (repaired with tape to verso.) The smaller two are mounted on card and exhibit some edge-toning.
