Follower of Yosai Watanabe Nobukazu (Japanese, 1874-1944), pair of Japanese woodblock triptych prints depicting propaganda images from the First Sino-Japanese War, Meiji period, the first titled 'Ryojun guchi todai no zu (Picture of the Lighhouse at the mouth of Port Arthur),' the second depicting two opposing generals in combat on the battlefield, each 13.25"h x 27.5" sight of sheet, overall dimensions of each including frame 19.25"h x 33.25"w x .5"d.
