Circa 1865 Civil War Stereoview; Printed identification on the reverse, "WAR VIEWS. No. 2539. James River Pontoon Bridge, opened for the passage of Steamers." Photographic stereoview is mounted on slightly curved mount board which is about 7" x 3-1/2". Published by E. & H.T. Anthony. Condition: pencil writing on front mount card margin, surface soiling, occasional scuffs, edge bumps, and foxing spots.
