BRASS HANGING / LIBRARY LAMP, colorless to pink opalescent hobnail dome-form shade, cast square-form harp with scrolls and floral ornamentation, supporting a matching glass hobnail font holder, stamped-brass elements include a shade and crown bands, smoke bell and motor cover, cast-brass leveler, cast-iron vertical spring-loaded motor, brass and copper drop-in font. Fitted with an electrified E. Miller slip burner, colorless cut-facet prisms. Non-period slip chimney. Late 19th/early 20th century. 46" HOA. Shade 6 3/4" H, 14" D base, 6" D rim.
Undamaged except for a very minor dent to top of font, very minimal wear, font holder with some minute roughness to several hobs, as made, some replaced hardware. Burner lacking components, prisms with expected roughness. Electrification not affecting lamp components.
