Description
VICTORIAN BRASS AND GLASS HANGING / LIBRARY LAMP, deep cranberry hobnail umbrella-form shade, cast-metal floral and scrolling harp supporting a plain brass font cup, brass drop-in font with side refill feather with a "B&H" screw cap, brass elements including a shade band, leveler, shade crown, motor cover with spring-loaded motor. Fitted with a period No. 2 "WHITE FLAME LIGHT" slip burner, colorless slip chimney, cut prisms. Late 19th/early 20th century. Shade 6 5/8" H, 13 7/8" D fitter.
Shade undamaged, rigging in very good to excellent condition overall with the shade band having a single split, typical overall wear and a few scattered minor dents. Shade with some roughness to the top rim, as made.
