Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A very pretty, nearly translucent, deep blue-green glass vial with a shimmering, iridescent rainbow patina. The body of the vial is rectangular, with a convex base and a pontil mark, indicating that it was free blown. A tall neck rises from the center of the shoulder, flaring slightly at the mouth. Size: 0.75" W x 2.7" H (1.9 cm x 6.9 cm)
