A series of 6.5 x 4.25'' menu cards from Vice President Johnson's visit to Camp David in 1962.

The beautifully designed menus for breakfast, luncheon, and dinner are printed on a thick cardstock with gold bevelled edges with the Presidential Seal embossed on the top center of the page. On the back of each menu is "VP Johnson-Camp David-1962" handwritten in pencil by Lt. Hirschy. Camp David is the presidential country retreat, located in Catoctin Mountain Park, near Thurmont, Maryland.

Lieutenant Hirschy was Supply and Logistics Officer for the Military Aides to the President and Officer-in-Charge of the Navy Mess in the White House during both the Kennedy and Johnson administrations. His duties also included taking care of the President's needs on overseas trips, aboard the presidential yachts and at Camp David. Lt. Hirschy served in the White House from May 1, 1961 through May 31, 1965. These items come directly from the Hirschy family.
