An assortment of approximately 23 Thanksgiving and Christmas Camp David holiday menus spanning three presidencies, measuring approximately 9 x 6'' .

The cardinal yellow Thanksgiving menus feature a brown turkey and autumnal leaf design on the front. The Christmas dinner menus, which are printed on cream cardstock, feature a red and green motif of script accompanied by a Santa Claus and reindeer design.

The menus detail the items that would have been served during holiday dinners for the Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson administrations. Each menu differs slightly by administration due to the personal and traditional preference of each President and their family.

These items come directly from the Hirschy family. Lieutenant Hirschy was Supply and Logistics Officer for the Military Aides to the President and Officer-in-Charge of the Navy Mess in the White House during both the Kennedy and Johnson administrations. His duties also included taking care of the President’s needs on overseas trips, aboard the presidential yachts and at Camp David. Lt. Hirschy served in the White House from May 1, 1961 through May 31, 1965.
