Description

A fascinating artifact from the Fang of Gabon, Central Africa. A very well weathered old Byeri Ancestor head inserted into a gourd vessel, and attached with some old rattan. This fang magic fetish has clear age and wear and is a most unusual example. This sculpture was in a Philadelphia area collection since the 1990's. The figure measures 15 inches tall x 7 inches wide. A small metal display stand will be included.

Obvious weathering and wear, this piece is overall in fair condition.
