Description
Central Asia, Neolithic period, ca. 3000 BCE. Lovely and lethal! A finely carved stone mace head of an attractive poppy flower form, the stone of creamy white hues with umber inclusions. Note that two lobes shows some old losses/wear - a sign of their use, however surfaces have smoothed nicely over the millenia. Size: 2.125" W x 1.625" H (5.4 cm x 4.1 cm)
