Description
Ca. 5000-4000 BCE. Rusty colored painted terracotta bowl. Figures are leaves or fish bones. Dimensions: 17 cm diameter, 12 cm H. Provenance: B.C. Galleries, 2006 acquired by Dr. Henry Cherrick, a professor and dean at UCLA School of dentistry who pioneered government programs promoting dental care in HIV/AIDs patients. He was an avid collector of fine art and antiquities and died at the age of 84 in 2023. Original documents included.
