NATIVE AMERICAN / PLAINS INDIAN BEADED MEDICINE BALLS, LOT OF TWO, comprising an antique example with green beadwork field divided by white bead columns with green, red, and blue bead squares inset, and a modern example by Linda Fire Thunder (Oglala Sioux), with red, white, black, and yellow fields divided by red and turquoise columns; each with "lazy" stitched beadwork. Antique example likely mid to late 19th century, the other fourth quarter 20th century. 2 1/4" and 2 3/4" D.
Antique example with loss to one lane of beads, and another area of bead loss, modern example with no losses.
